I was super excited when the guy I was rooting for from the very beginning, JT, won the million dollars. He was obviously many others favorite also, since he won an extra $100,000.00 for the fan-favorite vote as well. Lucky guy!
No matter how honest someone wants to play the game, it still seems to come down to the difficult reality of having to tell lies and go back on your word. Working hard around camp, competing in challenges with gusto, and making wise strategic social moves along the way paid off. He was able to out-wit, out-play, and out-last, yet still proving to be an all-around nice guy. Congratulations JT!
Tonight begins the new season of The Bachelorette, staring Jillian Harris from last season's Bachelor.
Many people think this show is ridiculous, including one of my best friends, lol! I'll admit that it's a little cheesy, and probably not the best way to go about finding true love, but I'm a hopeless romantic so it's entertaining for me. It's fairly unlikely that Jillian will find her dream guy during this process, but I'm going to be hopeful that she will. Ya just never know.

I did not watch Survivor this season, but did catch the first half of the Bachelorette last night. I don't normally watch that show, but wanted to check out the guys. My dh and I decided (he watched the first few minutes) that there are basically two groups of guys - those with real jobs and those who don't have jobs. I may just watch it next week.

Lol! There are a few characters, aren't there? It cracked me up how the guys became so competitive for her attention to the point of embarrassment. Jillian seems to have this wonderful ability to appear so comfortable around all of the guys and make them feel at ease during the one on one conversations. I couldn't believe she kept that creepy foot fetish guy! He was clearly more interested in her feet than anything else. Ewww! The previews look pretty drama filled as usual.

I'm glad your guy won on Survivor! I watched just a few minutes of the Bachelorette, and I thought Jillian was a class-act, making each guy feel at ease. She seemed very kind.

She does seem like a sweet girl. Hope she doesn't change as the season goes along. I guess she describes herself as a polished hick. That's kind of funny.
